Fall Into the Season

I love fall. The color of the leaves changing, the football games, the decorations, and the drinks. Yes, I said drinks. I am one of those people that love pumpkin anything. I have even tried pumpkin soup. I love pumpkin lattes, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin seeds.  I grew up going to high school football games. I would hang out with the band at the game. I wasn't in band, but some of my closest friends were. So, during those high school games, I would watch the home game on Friday nights. Sunday's were made for NFL games. We would have a family dinner with my brother driving over an hour with his children and wife. My parents would make a huge dinner and all of us would sit around the table catching up. My husband, who has been in my life for 12 years now, married for 10 1/2 years, has been there for me. He may drive me nuts at times, yet I know whatever I do he will be there for me.  See, my husband has schizoaffective disorder. This means he has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and it can be trouble if he isn't on his medication. The entire time I have known him; he has been on his medication. The issue for years though was he would overtake his medications. He would also use marijuana a lot. In Michigan, where we lived in the beginning of our marriage, it was medically legal. Jake used that and overused that fact.  My oldest daughter was on...
